Purpose: Supporting enhancement and assuring the quality of undergraduate and postgraduate education across the collegiate University and supporting students to develop the skills and awareness to build meaningful careers throughout their working lives. 

 

Education Quality and Policy Office (EQPO)

The Education Quality and Policy Office is responsible for the quality assurance of teaching and learning, and for University-wide, education-related policies.

University of Cambridge Careers Service

The Careers Service provides effective and impartial careers education and guidance to students, post-doctoral researchers and alumni. The Service also provides a broad range of opportunities for users to explore and connect with the labour market and further study opportunities.

Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning (CCTL)

CCTL supports educators, encourages innovation and provides a focus for enhancing undergraduate and postgraduate education at Cambridge. CCTL’s forums bring Cambridge educators and students together to reflect on important questions and challenges, and to share ideas and expertise. CCTL helps to develop of an evidence base for designing and evaluating educational activities. It provides training for postgraduate students, accredited teaching development programmes, and short workshops for staff who teach or support learning.

Postgraduate Research Office

The Postgraduate Research Office focuses on matters relating to postgraduate research (PGR) students, including understanding and responding to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) expectations. The team supports and coordinates activities with the aim of improving the experiences of PGR students and their supervisors, and increasing the number of successful UKRI Doctoral training partnership (DTP) bids. The Office is also responsible for quality assurance, policies and practices relating to the University’s current PGR student community.
