Education Services

Education Services is part of the University’s professional services and we provide support to students and staff across the University and Colleges.

Our primary objective is to support the provision of a high-quality educational experience for all students studying at the University by:

• empowering students to make informed choices before applying
• assisting students in succeeding in their studies
• enabling students to develop themselves for their lives beyond university

The Education Services Senior Leadership Team (SLT) provides strategic and transformational leadership. The SLT oversees the continued high standard delivery of specialist and core administration and knowledge-based services across the University.

Our departments

There are four departments within Education Services:

• Student Admissions and Access - attracts and supports the admission of a diverse body of undergraduate and postgraduate students and equips them with the skills and capacity to successfully transition into their chosen subject discipline.
• Student Support - makes Cambridge accessible, promotes and facilitates wellbeing, and provides support for students when they need it.
• Education and Student Outcomes - supports enhancement and assures the quality of undergraduate and postgraduate education across the collegiate University.
• Student Administration - manages the administration of a student’s journey, from registration to student progression, examination and graduation.

The Education Services Support team provides finance, HR and operational services to all teams in Education Services.

The team also supports the Education Services Senior Leadership Team.
