We are very pleased to be able to announce that Jonathan Appleton has been appointed to the new post of Assistant Director (Academic and Financial Planning and Analysis). This role has been created to recognise the benefits of a closer integration between the Planning and Resource Allocation Office of the Academic Division and the Financial Planning and Analysis section of the Finance Division (the latter includes the School and nSI Finance Managers group). The two teams will gradually be combined into one, with the new team bridging the academic and the finance functions. For structural neatness, the new team will sit in the Finance Division. This is an exciting development and should bring with it many opportunities to enhance the insights into our activities and the support for our business decisions. We wish Jonathan many congratulations on his appointment.
